Augmented Reality (AR) CCTV

Introduction

Video Surveillance Technology has come a long way. From analogue to digital, closed circuit to networked devices and now into an era of intelligent surveillance and augmented reality. As the technology has improved and developed, traditional surveillance methods of manual browsing and video walls have been exposed as inefficient, leading to difficulty in tracking and locating assets, dispersed information and wasted resources. It’s time these primitive methods were left in the past – they are undermining the pace of development in surveillance technology.

CORTEX is a system of software-defined surveillance platforms, utilising the latest in Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality and Big Data to provide an objective and complete view of any situation. This is achieved through operator interaction with mobile surveillance, facial / number plate recognition, GPS, maps and overlays, giving operators a complete suite to monitor and protect property, products and people.

CORTEX easily integrates applications on a modular level, reducing complexity and hassle whilst providing a deep integration between information, applications and video feed, negating the issues with traditional CCTV systems and stepping into a new era of intelligent surveillance.

AR Standard Functions

1. AR Video with Geographic Tag

Video & geographical information combined. Geographic tags are displayed live.

To see more information just click the tag. Video & information combined.

2. AR Video with Security Tag

With regards to CCTV, it is important to know where security equipment is distributed. For example, tags about specific camera types are shown in a different color. With these security tags, the commander can precisely command how to use these devices.

3. AR Video & Data

The combination of video with various types of Data. The target object can be described by text, image, video, document, link, website, relevant data etc. Click the tag and you can check the data on the interface directly.

For example, for the shopping mall, click one shop tag and it can show the new commodies and sales information.

4. AR Video with Video links

The combination of video with IP cameras. Video links with DVR/NVR.

5. AR Video with GPS

Cortex support the integration of the GPS devices. The (police helmet tags) are from GPS device that are accessed to achieve live track, to achieve real time monitoring and real time intercom. 4G body cameras are integrated. (This function is unique to us!)

6. AR Video Relay

Video Relay function is designed for large area where installs require 2 or 3 or 4 above AR cameras.

You can switch from one AR camera to another depending on the area you wish to view.

7. AR Video Patrolling

Intelligent patrolling allows you view several different tags to maximise the viewing area and events of interest.
